Happy Halloween!! ππ Greetings from Gus, and a friendly “Mooooooo” from Lucian! π
The
cousins are dressed up as the classic American folkloric characters:
Paul Bunyan, and his loyal blue ox, Babe. Swipe to see some vintage
illustrations of those tall-tale heroes. πππ§πͺ΅πͺπ²

Costume Shopping
Gus is heading out on a quest to find a pair of suspenders, to complete his Halloween costume. Lucian already has his costume together. It’s something big and blue. Any guesses who they will be? πππ²πͺ΅

A Haute Couture Ball
It’s a Haute Couture weekend! Gus has arrived at @hautecouturefordolls’ High Fashion Ball, draped in velvets and metallic armor and chainmail references; in a mashup of Dior and D&G Alta Sartoria. Scroll down to see my inspiration from the runways. πππ‘⚔️π΄
A closeup on the details of Gus’ Alta Sartoria inspired headgear; completing his ensemble for @hautecouturefordolls’ High Fashion Ball.

Perusing Dollslife Magazine
Gus is perusing his digital copy of #dollslifemagazine.
I think this quarterly publication is such a great way to look back at
the last few months of miniature events and parties, and I also always
learn something new from it, about the doll community, or the wider
world!! π
A huge Thank You to @adrian.dollslife, for crafting this lovely gift for #dollstagram, every season!! π✨❄️πΈπ»π

Catching up on Projects
Gus is looking at the ol’ Tiny Apparel notebook, seeing what projects I need to be catching up on! π€π π§΅πͺ‘
I’m very pleased to report, my shoulder that was dislocated is feeling a lot better now. I really appreciate all the kind messages and well-wishes so many of you sent me last week. They mean a lot to me, and really cheered me up through that pretty darn uncomfortable first week of recovery. π
