Gus is rocking some @boglioliofficial inspired style this Tuesday afternoon. I’m so pleased I could do this look with things that he already had in his mini wardrobe. I think the whole Boglioli fall/winter 21 menswear presentation is really gorgeous, and definitely worth checking out for aesthetic inspiration.
Gus and Lucian are strolling, talking shop, and sipping hot maple chai lattes, on their way to @welcome_2_the_dollhouse ‘s #dollfabfallfriday celebration. If they’re a little late, it’s probably because Gus is brimming with intriguing industry stories, and as usual, cousin Lucian is all ears.

A luxurious new textile has arrived at the studio, and Gus, here, seems to be getting quite chummy with it.
Today Gus is modeling a bespoke turtleneck sweater for one of my clients. He requested a dupe of Gus’ favorite caramel sock sweater, and I made a discovery: The rate of turnover in sock styles is intense! Last season’s socks were nowhere to be found, let alone socks from a few seasons ago. Happily, after lots of searching, I was able to find a pretty close match, with this soft taupe material.
Lucian is used to being in front of the camera, working as a fashion model. However, he’s also fascinated with the production side of things! Today, Lucian’s working behind-the-scenes, helping to storyboard an upcoming editorial photo shoot for the September issue of #dollslifemagazine.
Welcome to the new Tiny Apparel Workshop! Gus has finished arranging all the bolts of fabric neatly, and now he’s flopped down in the corner chair, with a cup of tea.
I
wanted to build a workshop that reflects the wonderful coziness of the
comments and messages you all share; A place to talk patterns, menswear,
and life, and perhaps enjoy a cup of tea, or coffee, and a cookie.

pattern, you may see one of your requests on the illustration wall.
I’ve been overhauling the mini tailoring workshop, and Gus here, is helping bring some bolts over to the newly redesigned space. Steady there, Gus! It’s alright to take a couple trips, you know. 😆 I’m excited to share the updated mini workshop with you all this weekend!

theme for the September photo challenge, celebrating Ken’s 60th
anniversary, is “Ken’s Best Mates.” So in honor of the theme, a shoutout
to buddies, besties, homies, mates, and ride-or-die sidekicks
everywhere, who have each other’s back through thick and through thin,
making the world a more caring and beautiful place.
