Meet Gus

Here is Gus, 12 inch high model, ready for casting.

On the right, Gus is posing with some illustrations of looks he might be modeling in the future. He is wearing a cotton knit T-shirt and a pair of cotton chinos. Gus has beaded and braided string bracelets on his wrists, and is wearing a matching necklace.

The Micro Barn is Festive!

The little tack room is all decorated for Christmas!

So are the standing stalls,

and there is a big wreath and some tinsel under the hay loft!
The ornaments are made from cultured and glass pearls, and little gold beads.

Deck the halls!

The bears have little lights and a garland for their house!

The garland is made out of variegated green yarn, twisted with some wire into a giant pipe cleaner.

The tack room re-model is moving along and Brenda is enjoying her new flooring and carpet.
She's taken off her scarf for a better view of her v neck top.

Bears in Dressing Gowns

The Angora brothers are back! I turned a pair of old worn out long underwear into a pair of 1920s style combinations for them. They have short sleeves and little glass pearl buttons down the front.

The dressing gowns are a couple of silk scarves, pinned on.
Now the bears are all dressed for hibernation.

Equestrian Chic

My little Breyer doll has a new outfit, and a redecorated tack room to hang out in.

She is wearing a knit long sleeved pullover and a wool tweed skirt with a matching scarf.
She has cotton sock tops and a leather belt with a gold colored buckle.
She is just 8 inches high!

Nancy Drew's Sleuth Kit

I've been working on my paper quilling skills, and now Nancy has a magnifying glass, flashlight and pair of binoculars.

I also made her a little box to put them in with some marvelous alligator print origami
paper that I found.

The Nancy Drew Project

I've been working on turning a Midge doll into Nancy Drew.

I started out by giving her a haircut and knitting her a silk and cotton dress. I had to combining three vintage patterns to get the look that I wanted and I'm pleased with the result. I also made her some suede gloves (the tiniest I've ever made) and some glass pearl earrings and a matching necklace. Now she needs a flashlight, magnifying glass, and perhaps a pair of binoculars.

The Angora Bros are Back...

...and I've made them little papers so they can read up on current events and
amuse themselves looking at the ads.

They are fond of taking selfies.

Olivia Bear

This is Olivia

She's a little velvet bear with leather paws and is my first hand stitched bear. Here, she's wearing an alpaca sweater and a pair of purchased boots.

I've put together several little outfits for her over the years. Here is her sailor suit,

Her plaid dress and velvet sash.

And last but not least, her party dress made from a vintage silk scarf.
