We’ve arrived at @adrian.dollslife ‘s birthday party!! Cardigan Pattern

There’s a new hand-sewing pattern in the Tiny Apparel Etsy shop! This one has been in the works since last fall. It’s for a shawl collar cardigan that can be made from a single medium or large sized sock. You can find it at the link in my bio. The cardigan has options for elbow patches and pockets. Gus here, is modeling it with his rowdy friend, Barry, the hackney pony.

Gus is switching to vacation mode. 😎 He’s heard there’s a chic new café, called Pepper’oncini, opening soon. He wants to be there to try it out on opening day. ☕️

I’m looking forward to the opening party on Friday, hosted by @pepper_dollcrafts.

Fashion Week

Yesterday, footage from the menswear runway presentations for F/W 22, started going up on YouTube, and more shows are streaming and getting published this weekend. Gus and Lucian don’t want to miss a single one! 😄 Do you enjoy watching runway shows? I love seeing the different fabrics in motion, spotting trends, and figuring out the “story” or mood, that a designer is presenting through their styling, music choice, and set design.

 Gus is keeping warm on this chilly afternoon, in a soft oversized rugby sweater, made from a sock.

I used a mashup of two patterns for this one: the bulky sweater pattern for the sleeves and body of the sweater, and the polo & rugby shirt pattern for the collar and button placket.
