Happy Thanksgiving!! Last Thanksgiving, Gus and his cousin, Lucian, made a great big festive mess all over Gus’ living room, assembling holiday garlands. This year, they’ve planned ahead, and taken their spiced cider, and their decorating process, into the heated garage. 😆

Autumnal Charm

It’s been a crazy busy couple of weeks, but finally there’s a chance to sit back and relax for a few. Gus is enjoying a cup of tea, before heading over to @this.little.life.gram ‘s beautifully rustic #dollsinthewoods party. 🥧🍂🍁 Gus will also be stopping by @barbieblast59 ‘s #barbieblast10kparty , on the way, to give her his hearty congratulations! 🎉🥂✨

A Moment in Hairclips

This year, @adrian.dollslife came up with a monthly photography theme for Ken dolls, and November’s theme is “molded hair or rooted hair?” Now, that’s a very contentious question for a lot of doll collectors, and I know people with strong opinions on both sides of the fence. So, Lucian is here with his unpigmented locks in backstage clips, to finally settle the debate, proudly representing: Flocked Hair! 😂🐇🌨

Bespoke in Rose

Gus is modeling another bespoke suit from the tailoring studio. This one is in a delicate rose shade with gray paisley lining - perfect for yacht parties, and also striking in black and white! Thank you so much, @welcome_2_the_dollhouse for thinking this one up! It was a delight to make! 😊🌸🛥🦩

 Now where on earth is Gus’ phone? It’s ringing, somewhere... in the bag? In a pocket? Maybe Sinatra the beagle can find it. 📱😂

Today Gus got a very lovely call from the wonderful @stovallthedoll, thanking Gus, Lucian, and myself - their tailor, for the birthday gift we all sent over.

I’m overjoyed to see that Stovall is enjoying it, and that it’s a good fit. I hope he has lots of fun wearing it on adventures with his GIANT. ☺️🥾🚜🐎❄️

Back in the Tailoring Studio

Exciting updates from the tailoring studio: two bespoke suits are completed, and three more are in progress. 😀🧵🪡📍Gus is modeling a royal blue number with cream paisley lining, and he’s flipped the jacket of the 2nd suit insideout on the dress form, so you can see its metallic peacock lining. 🦚✨
