Gus just got this absolutely awesome chair, designed and 3D printed by the brilliant @stovallthedoll! It came carefully packaged, with the seat all ready for upholstery. I added a red mahogany finish, and a black faux leather seat. There are so many neat ways to model with a chair, and Gus is excited to try them all! 🪑📸✨

Thanksgiving!! Last Thanksgiving, Gus and his cousin, Lucian, made a
great big festive mess all over Gus’ living room, assembling holiday
garlands. This year, they’ve planned ahead, and taken their spiced
cider, and their decorating process, into the heated garage. 😆

It’s been a crazy busy couple of weeks, but finally there’s a chance to sit back and relax for a few. Gus is enjoying a cup of tea, before heading over to @this.little.life.gram ‘s beautifully rustic #dollsinthewoods party. 🥧🍂🍁 Gus will also be stopping by @barbieblast59 ‘s #barbieblast10kparty , on the way, to give her his hearty congratulations! 🎉🥂✨
This year, @adrian.dollslife came up with a monthly photography theme for Ken dolls, and November’s theme is “molded hair or rooted hair?” Now, that’s a very contentious question for a lot of doll collectors, and I know people with strong opinions on both sides of the fence. So, Lucian is here with his unpigmented locks in backstage clips, to finally settle the debate, proudly representing: Flocked Hair! 😂🐇🌨
Gus is modeling another bespoke suit from the tailoring studio. This one is in a delicate rose shade with gray paisley lining - perfect for yacht parties, and also striking in black and white! Thank you so much, @welcome_2_the_dollhouse for thinking this one up! It was a delight to make! 😊🌸🛥🦩

Today Gus got a very lovely call from the wonderful @stovallthedoll, thanking Gus, Lucian, and myself - their tailor, for the birthday gift we all sent over.
I’m overjoyed to see that Stovall is enjoying it, and that it’s a good fit. I hope he has lots of fun wearing it on adventures with his GIANT. ☺️🥾🚜🐎❄️

I
had so much fun putting these looks together! The fashion described in
the Sherlock Holmes series is truly wonderful and inspiring, as are the
chic little illustrations by Sidney Paget, which accompanied the stories
when they were first published. Gus is rocking Holmes’ sporty
deerstalker cap, and in the third pic, Lucian pays homage to Dr.
Watson’s iconic suit & sneakers moment. The last pic has some of
Paget’s illustrations. 😊
Gus is pitching a Halloween costume idea to cousin Lucian.
Gus: “your costume idea last year was a ton of fun, but this year, how ‘bout we swap, and you dress as my sidekick instead.” 😀

This season, In addition to a few other
projects, the Tiny Apparel Bespoke workshop is busy with not one, not
two, but four wedding suits!
I always love delving into the
world of classic tailoring, and making suits for such meaningful
occasions is especially wonderful! Some of the suits are even inspired
by clients’ real-life wedding attire. I sincerely hope I can make
everything to all the grooms’ satisfaction.
Gus, here, is modeling bespoke braided side-tab trousers from one of the ensembles.
Gus and Lucian are hustling on down, over at The Great Disco Emporium, for @scarlarydoll ‘s #scarlarydiscoparty! They’re not the most graceful boys on the floor, but they sure are moving and grooving!! 😂 Congratulations to the talented @scarlarydoll!! Wishing her a very Happy Birthday!!
Gus is in the barn, carefully putting polo wraps on Barry, the Hackney pony, before his workout. Polo wraps are like a cross between a shin guard and an ankle support, and they also can add a stylish splash of color to a horse’s turnout.

Gus is leaf peeping around old New England ski towns, with his wiggly buddy, Sinatra. Gus is enjoying the beautiful views, and Sinatra is here for the aromatic woodland.
A new pattern is in the shop! This one has instructions for hand sewing a bulky sweater from a medium or large sized sock. There are so many fabulous sock designs on the market, the possibilities for these sweaters are really endless. They’re a handy way to repurpose lone socks too. Gus is rocking some @boglioliofficial inspired style this Tuesday afternoon. I’m so pleased I could do this look with things that he already had in his mini wardrobe. I think the whole Boglioli fall/winter 21 menswear presentation is really gorgeous, and definitely worth checking out for aesthetic inspiration.
