Dollstagram Summer Camp Part 2

Today, as camp counselors at Dollstagram Summer Camp, Gus and Lucian are talking about pollinators, before going on an insect finding expedition. Here, Gus is demonstrating how to use a sampling net. He’s about to catch a very rare butterfly indeed!

Double Birthdays

 Best Birthday Wishes, from me and the cousins!! They’ve got their blue togs on, for our super talented friend, @welcome_2_the_dollhouse ‘s blue-themed birthday bash! They’ve brought along a blueberry and raspberry mascarpone cheese tart to share, and Gus is twinning with the dessert!

Nautical Editorial

Tropical Seaside

Gus is ready for tropical paradise. 😎🏝🌺🦜
I made his shirt from a striped floral print, designed for quilting borders. Those types of prints really lend themselves to making mini shirts; with small motifs and their own built in trim, that can be used for edging the front, or sleeves.

Deco Resortwear

Gus is in an Art Deco kind of mood. 😆 Today’s looking like it’s going to be a scorcher, so he’s staying inside, out of the sun, in his comfy kimono shirt, and I don’t blame him! ⛱🌴

Vacation Mode

Gus isn’t on vacation, but in this ‘fit, he can bring resort vibes with him, wherever he goes.

Creativewear

 Gus is breaking all the rules. 😆 We heard there was a #dollstagram party today with the dress code: “creative.” So, Gus, here, is giving it his all: mixing casual with formal; winter with summer; modern with classic, and Jordans with a deerstalker! I think the end result has a touch of @thombrowne insanity. 😂 It also reminds me of the fact that A.A. Milne (author of Winnie-the-Pooh) once wrote a really good Sherlock Holmes fan fiction in the 1920s. 🤣

 Today Gus is going for something a little avant-garde, and a little bit classic; perhaps a bohemian Carry Grant type of mood? 🤔😆
