Flat Cap and Beret Sewing Pattern

A new sewing pattern is in the shop! 😃 This one includes instructions for making a classic flat cap, and a slouchy beret. Both designs are beginner friendly, and created with hand sewing in mind. Swipe through, to see Gus modeling them.

New Profil Picture!

 This week, Gus got a touch-up on the ol’ eye paint, and new glued on eyelashes. Time to pose for an updated profile picture! 🕺📸

I make Gus’ lashes out of tiny snippets of black faux fur. They are definitely on the silver-screen leading-man side of things, but I’m partial to the interesting shadows they cast in pictures. 😁

Sunflowerman Coffee!

Today, Gus is posing with a beautiful bag of signature Sunflowerman Coffee by @haveanicedaycoffee! 😃 A great big thank you to @sunflowerman, for this wonderful gift! It has a lovely, sweet, rich buttery aroma, and I know it’s going to taste amazing! The packaging is a work of art too, and can be opened up to reveal an even larger image. It’s January, which means it’s time to pour through all those new fall/winter 23/24 menswear collections, and gather inspo! 😁 Gus’ beret here will appear soon in an upcoming sewing pattern. His sweater was made from a sock with the Tiny Apparel bulky sweater pattern, and his flannel pants are from the Tiny Apparel slim-fit pants pattern. (Available at the link in my bio).🧵🪡

Sunflowerman

I’d like you all to meet a doll, inspired by the awesome... the incredible... the one and only, aesthetically brilliant genius of art and illustration: @sunflowerman!!! @sunflowerman is a painter, a menswear illustrator, a style icon, and a personal hero of mine!! If you are passionate about art, coffee, fashion, watches, or any combo of the above, I can’t recommend following his accounts enough!! And keep an eye out for the little Sunflowerman dragon! 😉🐉

Working on this project has been an incredible honor for me! It has taken me almost a year to complete, and is a project of many firsts; Including my first time rerooting a doll, my first time working with this type of curly hair, and my first time customizing a mini molded hat! I’ve carefully assembled a collection of accessories and pieces, for this tiny gentleman, inspired by Sunflowerman’s more casual styles. However, I will leave any face repainting to the talents of @sunflowerman himself. If you’ve seen his work, you’ll understand why! 😁

These past months, Gus and Lucian got to rock a wide variety of menswear looks; from comfy everyday street-style, to extravagant high fashion, and everything in between! I’ve also had a ton of fun this year, exploring new ways to add texture and detail to my photos! Thank you all, for your encouragement, inspiration, and friendship throughout this year! Keeping Cozy

Oh the weather outside is frightful, and by that I mean 12°F (-11°C) with 36mph (57 kph) wind! 🥶 Gus and Sinatra have decided to be a blanket burrito until further notice.😆 Happy Christmas Eve, to all who are celebrating, and if you are in this wild storm network, stay safe. ☕️☃️🎄

A Royal Christmas Ball

 Gus and his cousin Lucian have arrived at the Royal Christmas Ball, hosted by @barbieconjuro and @adrian.dollslife! They are straightening their bow ties, and taking a quick look around, before making their formal entrance. Neither of these boys are accomplished ballroom dancers, but they are plenty game to try, so be careful of your hems and toes, if you decide to dance with them! 🤣🕺🎶
